Welcome to the application process for
CHRISTIAN AMERICAN SCHOOL OF GUATEMALA.
Our system is American, which means that our curriculum and our teachers are from North America. Our teachers come to us with specialized backgrounds in teaching, including teaching credentials, Bachelor’s Degrees, and Master’s Degrees in education awarded by universities in the United States. We work with children as young as 2-5, using North American programs designed to stimulate the children as they learn English and simultaneously develop in Spanish. Preschool students have Spanish class one period each day. In our Elementary, Middle, and High School classes, 85% of the day is taught in English and 15% remains in Spanish for courses like Idioma and Sociales.
Our students take all of the classes required by the Ministry of Education of Guatemala, including English, Spanish, Math, Science, Social Studies, Art, Physical Education, and Computers. We also offer special classes, such as Music, Bible, Gymnastics, and Swimming.
